Our location in Humble Tx has an opening for a full time Maintenance Electrician Technician. 3rd Shift

 

Position Description:  

To work in a tightly-knit team environment with the main focus of supporting all of the plant's departments, by using your electrical expertise along with your experience of production equipment and production systems.
Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical failure, identifying the root cause with the motivation to work together on continuous improvements.  
Perform routine Preventative Maintenance and Work Order tasks as requested.
Use your expertise to be progressive thinking to identify high risk downtime areas in a fast pace production environment and work together to minimize the risk.
Network with other departments within facility, ensuring effective communication.
Work on projects and Work Orders as they come up.
Work effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety.
Complete maintenance reports and logs as required to support effective maintenance systems.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas and in the maintenance shop.
Adherence to all safety & quality policies and procedures.
Be able to work overtime if required for vacation coverage, projects and audit preparation.
Be willing to attain your Class "B" Operator Refrigeration License in-house.
We are looking for individuals that are self-motivated, require little direction that enjoy working together in a positive team environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year PLC and motor control experience
  • Preferred experience: Welding, Electrical, Conveyor
  • Microsoft Office, including excel
  • Hold a valid Construction or Industrial Electrician license (not required).
  • Solid mechanical troubleshooting ability
